Pending regulatory clarity, GDAX will determine which ERC20 tokens to list. This upgrade also enables recovery of ERC20 tokens accidentally sent to GDAX Ethereum addresses.*
3. Coinbase Asset Management
Assets listed on GDAX will join the Coinbase Index based on market-cap weighting (methodology).
4. Coinbase Platform
ERC20 tokens must debut on GDAX before potential Coinbase listing. Factors like liquidity and stability will guide decisions—listing on GDAX doesn’t guarantee Coinbase availability.
Like GDAX, Coinbase will implement solutions to recover misplaced ERC20 tokens.
