About the Opportunity
We're seeking an accomplished Head of Financial Crimes Audit to oversee our internal audit function for financial crime prevention. This pivotal role combines strategic leadership with operational oversight to strengthen our anti-money laundering (AML), counter-terrorist financing (CTF), and sanctions compliance frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership & Compliance Oversight
- Develop comprehensive annual audit plans aligned with regulatory requirements
- Advise executive leadership on emerging financial crime risks and control enhancements
- Serve as organizational SME for financial crimes compliance strategies
Financial Crimes Audit Execution
- Conduct end-to-end audits of AML/CTF programs and sanctions screening systems
- Evaluate effectiveness of fraud prevention mechanisms and transaction monitoring
- Assess compliance with global regulations (FATF, OFAC, BSA/AML standards)
- Deliver actionable recommendations with measurable impact metrics
Team Development & Stakeholder Management

- Foster collaborative relationships across Compliance, Risk, and Legal departments
- Present findings to governance committees and regulatory bodies as needed
Regulatory Intelligence & Reporting
